These Terms of Service govern your use of Dermela, including the Dermela mobile application, website, and related services. By using Dermela, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.

2. Use of Dermela

Dermela is intended for educational and informational purposes only. Dermela does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional or dermatologist for medical advice. Dermela's features, including AI-assisted insights, are for skin awareness, mole tracking, and learning purposes only.

3. AI-assisted analysis and recommendations

Dermela may use AI-assisted tools to analyze photos and provide estimated skin-related insights such as skin age, hydration, redness, wrinkles, mole observations, or change-tracking notes. These insights are not a substitute for medical examinations or professional dermatological advice.

You agree that you will not rely solely on Dermela's information for any medical decision, diagnosis, or treatment. Dermela is not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes.

4. User content and photo data

You may upload or capture photos for analysis, tracking, or history. These photos are processed for the purpose of providing Dermela's app features and maintaining your scan history. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to upload any content you provide.

You may delete photos or your account at any time. Account deletion will result in deletion of your account data from Dermela's systems, subject to reasonable processing time, backup retention, and legal obligations.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Some Dermela features may require a paid subscription or in-app purchase. Subscriptions may auto-renew unless canceled. Full pricing, renewal terms, and cancellation instructions are available in the app and through the Apple App Store purchase flow.

6. Limitation of liability

Dermela and its developers are not responsible or liable for harm, loss, or damages arising from your use of Dermela or from reliance on Dermela's insights, labels, suggestions, or educational content. Use of Dermela is at your own risk.

Always seek professional medical advice for health-related concerns, changing moles, new symptoms, or urgent skin findings.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Dermela after changes means you accept the revised terms.
